Template Challenge!!

Hi everyone, Colleen here to help celebrate Pretty in Green's Design-a-versery with a Template Challenge! July has been flying by so fast I almost forgot to post, I’m so sorry I don’t have any fun examples to share with you. but you still get to play and get a FREE template! sound like fun? ok let's dive in!

Pick up the template and get to work, here's the deal, once you make the layout head over to Ginger Scraps and post your layout, then come back here and post that link in the comments, make sure we can contact you. you'll have until Tuesday the 26th to finish and post. Each person that plays will get a coupon to the Pretty in Green store, and as an added bonus if you use 75% or more of Pretty in Green's product you'll be entered in a drawing to win another $$ coupon!

alittle bit of news and info

Hey, did you meet my new bloggin girl! She’s fantastic, actually I don’t know anyone who loves to blog more than her, I knew she would be an awesome fit for my team! Speaking of my team do you know who they are, I bet not, I’m terrible I had them all gather up photos so I could introduce them and I never did so I’d like to at least get their names out there, they really are the best CT team EVER!

Introducing my Pretty CT Team:

Colleen! She’s makes the best muti-photo layouts all the time! She is now also my CT lead!

Jacque! You just met her, she is the blogg-diggity! My Bloggin girl!

Sarah! She’s making me want to go out and get a printer, she is turning in to the hybrid queen!

Missi! She my support system, lol I know I can call on her for help. She makes beautiful layouts too!

Kimmy! There’s a lot I could say about Kimmy but, mostly I want to say her little girls are BEAUTIFUL!

Jen! Not on my CT any more but we are buddies! She is the designer for Pixels by Jen!

I’ve also got more alittle more news I’ve been trying to blog about for a few days now, Jacque was part of an awesome blog hop sort of deal called Bloggamaina! I hopped on over to her blog to support her and get a chance at winning a super cool prize, didn’t think I would win being the very first to post, but the random number that she drew was 1! Me! Pretty awesome! I was super excited! It came in the mail this week, and I’ve been playing with it on my laptop, learning it and getting used to it. It’s way better to use on my laptop than the mouse touch pad that are on those things, needless to say I’m super happy I have it! So here’s a pic of me right after I opened it! My 5 year old son took the pic, not to bad, but he did take like 10. Gotta love digital!

Meet the new Pretty in Green blogger!

Hi there!

Jacque here - or maybe more known around digi-land as Get 2 Scrappin'. I am so excited to be a part of Rachel's team as a blogger and I look forward to interacting with you all here on the Pretty in Green blog!

I'll tell you a little bit about me just in case you are interested! :) I'm a stay at home mom with 2 boys that like to drive me a little nuts! D3 is almost 4 and TT is 2. They make for some extra exciting days most of the time! And then throw in the other little guy that I watch during the days - he's 3 1/2 - it's usually just chaos around here! lol Staying at home and moving to a new place led me to look online for adult interaction! That's how I found blogging a year ago and shortly thereafter I found out about digi-scrapping. I have been hooked on both ever since!!!

I will tell you that I am slightly addicted to all things social media. Probably the quickest way to get me is by tweeting @ me! :) I am attending my first blogger conference in a couple weeks - Bloggy Boot Camp in Boston and I can not wait!!! I know I am going to learn so much about blogging and social media in general.

When it comes to digi-scrapping I have used Gimp all the way up til this week. I recently got a Bamboo Craft and it came with Photoshop Elements 8. I have done 2 layouts in it so far and am LOVING it!!! I can't wait to learn about all the new things I can do with this program and the tablet too!

So anyhow - I look forward to getting to know y'all and sharing all the exciting Pretty in Green news! Exciting news like: There's a speed scrap on Thursday 4/21 at 9pm EST - hope to see you there!!!
